Radiant Baby

It is a repeating image and logo.

The artist conceived the image of a crawling child, from whom the rays emanate, shortly after his move to New York. Discovering the art of graffiti, Keith Haring began to create drawings in the underground passages of the city metro, using billboards closed with black cardboard. Together with barking dogs, dancing human figures and UFOs, the image of a child radiating light often appeared in the artist’s works. Radiant Baby was also featured on the signboard of Keith Haring’s gift shop, which he opened in New York in 1986.
