Zborowski was one of the patrons who regularly purchased works by Modigliani. Thanks to his support, the master created a large number of works in 1916-1919. Once, the philanthropist organized a personal exhibition of the artist’s paintings at the Berthe Weill Gallery. However, it failed due to the presence of canvases of too vulgar content.
