1890
Pushkin Museum, Moscow.
Oil on canvas.
Van Gogh painted this picture in June 1890, when he lived in Auvers-sur-Oise, France. There is a carriage with bright orange wheels in the center of the picture. It may be interpreted as a symbol of life, movement and the sun. The fields are painted with bright colors. To depict shades, the author used green, blue, red and other colors.
