Three girls, keen on the game, do not seem to notice the poverty reigning around; they are happy in their cloudless world. Children embody the purity and optimism of the Filipino people, their faith in a better future. In this picture, the artist used not only his traditional overlays of several plans but also circular elements not characteristic of his art, transmitting the direction of movement and emphasizing the dynamics of the plot. It seems that the artist managed to depict the air that the girl pushes in a jump.
