Poster.
The poster was made as a protest against apartheid policies in the Republic of South Africa. In the 1980s, many artists, musicians and public figures were against the unfair division of the ruling white upper classes and lower classes, consisting of people with dark skin. Keith Haring, who joined this movement, created a poster with the figure of a huge black man. The artist demonstrated the strength and capabilities of blacks, while the little white man is defeated and has no longer any way to keep the giant on the leash. To emphasize the importance of his message, the artist used a bright red frame, and he transmitted the dynamism of the moment through black lines-rays going in different directions.
