Flying Forms

author

Tatyana Glebova

description

Mediums: tempera, cardboard, canvas.
Location: The collection of A.B.Sterligov, Moscow (Russia).

Glebova’s later work is a unique synthesis of the basic principles of Suprematism, Analytical art, in which the artist worked for many years, and her own unique worldview. The abstract painting “Flying Forms” from the cycle of the same name demonstrates the theory of the cup-dome space in action. Here, the complex interweaving of the heavenly vital forces is connected with earthly forms through visible streams of energy originating in the earth, like a tree, and spreading their crown far away in space. The works of this cycle are characterized by a soft pastel palette and voluminous air space.
