Location: Millennium Park, Chicago, the USA.
The most famous and recognizable work of Anish Kapoor, which is popularly called “bean” because of its shape resembling a bean. The sculpture is made of steel polished to a perfect shine so that it reflects the entire surrounding architecture and people walking along the square. Each person in the city park Millennium can come close to the work and admire their reflection on its smooth surface. It took a lot of effort to create such a large-scale work. The construction that consists of 168 metal panels connected in a seamless way cost the city almost 23 million instead of the planned $ 6 million, due to the difficulties experienced while installing it.
