Briefly about the painting:

The painting of the American period of the artist’s creative career was made in the technique, which he called “Pliontanism”, ironically using the Ukrainian dialectal word “pliontaty”, that is, to plait. Now this definition is a term used professionals and art connoisseurs all over the world. Virtuously flowing into each other, like living thin vines, elements form real objects, if it is a still life, and human figures, if it is a plot canvas. The artist created many blue still-life symphonies – they are surrealistic precisely by their technique and color. The artist almost always “throws” the accent – whether it is a red apple or a yellow pear, or a whole placer of juicy fruits.
