This painting expresses Dottori’s interest in cosmic phenomena, celestial bodies and their interaction in space, which was characteristic of many Futurists. The artist admired the all-encompassing power of the Universe and its energy, penetrating the outer space. The movement of celestial objects is transmitted using concentric circles, which intersect at many points, creating a special rhythm and harmony. This abstract painting indicates the strong influence of paintings of Giacomo Balla, a mentor and close friend of the artist.
