Donald Judd called his works “specific objects”, which are neither painting nor sculpture but simply exist in real space. The composition “Untitled” is one of these forms, composed of several repeating elements. They are identical and arranged sequentially one after another, and the space between these figures and the wall to which the work is attached are part of the composition. None of the objects in this work dominates the other; they have the same dimensions and equal gaps between them, which create the perfect harmony of the coexistence of forms and space.
