Briefly about the painting:

The plot can be considered surreal except for citizens of civilized countries. The commentary of the author is included in the title of this painting, and it is a direct satire on Soviet construction standards. The apartment depicts an authentic living space, which was supposed to be occupied. The artist repeatedly stressed that his works are genre scenes. He necessarily “charged” his idea with a value that is important for the community at the moment. Although the urgency of the problem is gradually decreasing, the majority of viewers still understand this everyday story.
