Museum of Contemporary Art “Albertina Modern” opens in Vienna

In March 2020, Albertina opens its “Albertina Modern” branch. It will focus on contemporary art from 1945 to the present day.
The museum will open on March 13th and will be located in the Kunstlerhaus (House of the Artist) in Karlsplatz.
The Albertina Contemporary Art Collection consists of 60,000 works. They can be seen at exhibitions in the new branch. The first exposition to be held at Albert Modern will be called The Beginning.
The cost of the museum is 50 million euros.
