Canvas, hammer, nails.
One of the first works of the artist, in the creation of which the audience could take part. This is a blank canvas on a wooden board with a hammer hanging next to it and a bucket of spikes. Each participant could come near it and hammer a nail with their hand, winding a strand of their hair on the nail. The work was considered finished when the panel was completely covered with nails, or when the author wished.
