An event of the year in the world of art took place in the Louvre, the opening of the exhibition of the outstanding painter Leonardo Da Vinci. It is dedicated to the 500th anniversary of the Italian painter’s death.
The Leonardo da Vinci exhibition in the Louvre broke the attendance record: over four months, it was visited by 1 million 71 thousand people. Tickets for the exhibition began to be sold several months before its opening, visitors reserved time intervals for viewing the exhibition. In the last days of work, it became available at night. The exhibition featured 160 works by Leonardo, which were provided by the largest museums in the world.
