Briefly about the painting:
The landscape demonstrates the ability of the young artist to harmoniously combine the principles of impressionist painting and the techniques of cubism in one work. In the painting that is not deprived of depth due to the perspective, there is a lot of air and colored lighted and shaded spots that characterize the summer day. At the same time, the trees, the path and the meadow, and not only the beehives themselves, are depicted in a cubist manner. Unidirectional strokes of pastels create the feeling of a light warm wind. The general inclination of the entire composition with a low point of view and the movement of light enforce it.
